Tentative Bookings: You may make a tentative booking at any time. It costs nothing and holds your date and time for two weeks. During this time we will let you know if some one else enquires about your time.

Time: Premium Event Packages are priced over 4 or 5 hours, Classic Special Packages are priced for up to 4 hours, Cocktail, Breakfast and High Tea from 2.5 hours. Extra time is $7.90 per guest per half hour. Drinks service ends 15 minutes before the scheduled end time. Extra time costs should be paid on or before the night. We cannot always extend lunch time functions due to evening commitments.

Hors d’ouevres: during pre dinner drinks

You can either add an horsdouevres and canape combination to your package or exchange the an entree for hot and cold canape at no extra cost.

Children (4 to 12 years): Children’s Meals are a set price of $49.00 per child. Children having the adults meal pay the adult price.

Extra Meals: Meals for people other than guests including photographers, musicians, video, and DJ will cost $75.00 per extra person for a sit down function and $45.00 for a cocktail function. This includes a main course and drinks for the whole function.

Numbers: There is no minimum number of guests except on Saturday nights and Friday and Saturday nights in November and December when the minimum is 80 guests for a sit down Premium Event Function or 180 guests for a 3h upstanding cocktail party.

Final Numbers, Final Details and Payment: We need final numbers two weeks before your event. This allows us to plan staff and order food and drinks.

Payment needs to be completed at least a week prior to your event. Payment may be made by cash, bank cheque, eftpos or credit card. Mastercard and Visa attract a 2% credit charge, Amex and Diners attract a 3% credit charge

We should get together two days before your event and review all the final details and plans. We would normally obtain seating plans and place cards from you at this time, any last minute instructions, wedding cake, cake bags any any special table decorations.

Wedding Ceremonies & Grand Entrance

We are pleased to arrange these for you and have all the Old Government House requirements available in a separate package. A Ceremony in the grounds including carpet chairs, signing table starting a half or one hour before your reception is $595 and a Grand Entrance $550.

Grand Entrance & Ceremony Combined: $990.00

Old Government House: From time to time the National Trust provides us short notice on building restorations. We will let you know immediately any work starts which may affect your Grand Entrance.

Cancellations: We would be disappointed should you have to cancel your function however your deposit is not refundable.

Confetti: Paper Confetti is not allowed in the grounds of Old Government House.

Parking: Parking is available within the park outside Old Government House. Please park in marked bays. Parramatta and Western Sydney Parks Trusts have an all day parking permit that allows for all day parking in the unmetered 1, 2 and 3h marked parking areas which you can buy from Lachlans. There is also free untimed parking from midday Saturday and all day Sunday in the parking area just across the field from Lachlans.

Responsible Service of Alcohol: We rarely have trouble with guests drinking too much however in line with government legislation we unreservedly reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated guests in everyone’s best interest.
